Ady started training in TaeKwonDo in 1974 before taking up HanMuDo. He is the U.K’s longest training practitioner of HMD.

Chief Master Nick Emerson

7th Dan HanMuDo

Nick began his training when he was 17 and has also undertaken studies in Judo, TaeKwonDo, Karate, HapKiDo and Brazilian JuJitSu.

Chief Master Tom Pellew

6th Dan HanMuDo

Tom has been training and teaching HMD since 1997. He is a full time lead trainer and course manager for Personal Safety Training. He is a keen writer and the media manager for HanMuDo UK, as well as the Director of Publications for the World Han Mu Do Association, and Editor of the International publication the 'Han Newsletter' for the Hando Group. He is a qualified teacher, with additional qualifications in Acupressure and Advanced Meditaion.

Master Instructor Leslie Bray

4th Dan HanMuDo

Leslie runs the Foulsham HanMuDo school and has a background in Wado Ryu Karate. She is a dedicated and loving teacher with a lot of experience and patience.

Master Instructor Adam Fields

4th Dan HanMuDo

Adam started training with his father at the age of 6 and gained his junior black belt at the age of 11. Two years later he had worked hard to adapt to the adult syllabus and took his 1st Dan at the young age of 13.

Instructor Iain Robertson

2nd Dan HanMuDo

Iain started his journey in the martial arts with Shotokan Karate in the mid-80’s, then went on to study Waldo Ryu with his children in 2008 before taking up HMD and obtaining his 1st Dan. He is an instructor at the Foulsham HanMuDo school. He qualified to 2nd Dan in 2022.
